The Rev. Judy Webb Davis
After Vestry discernment and following many thoughtful and exciting conversations with our candidates, the Diocese Minister of Transition, our clergy, and the staff, we are excited to welcome The Very Rev. Judith (Judy) Webb Davis as Interim Rector on March 1, 2022, to the St. Mark’s Episcopal Church leadership team.
Judy previously served as the rector of Emmanuel Brook Hill in Richmond's Northside as well as the Dean of the North Richmond Region of the Diocese of Virginia. She is a graduate of Virginia Theological Seminary (class of 2014). She participated in the Deep Calls to Deep Preaching Fellowship and in 2019, Judy completed the Fundamentals of Transitional Ministry training through the Interim Ministry Network. Previous calls were with All Saints in Richmond and St. Andrews, Oregon Hill, where Judy completed her field education work. Prior to seminary, Judy, and her husband Doug, were active members of St. Stephen's, where she was deeply involved in many aspects of worship, pastoral care and parish ministries and is the founder of the St. Stephen’s Healing Prayer Ministry.
Rev. Davis has the skills, talents, and gifts to help us organize, fine tune, and ensure once we are ready to, that our call to a new Rector is a resounding one.
