Advent Devotional and Faith at Home materials
Advent Quiet Afternoons: "For you, O Lord, my soul in stillness waits"
We often look to quiet our hearts during Advent, just as the world around us begins to speed up. This short advent series is for those seeking contemplative prayer practices to integrate into busy lives and ground us in God. In "open workshop" style on Friday afternoons December 6, 13 and 20 from 4 - 6 p.m., our Priest Associate Sarah Price will be in the library to guide you in making and praying with Anglican Prayer Beads especially designed for the season of Advent, and offering quiet space to learn and practice visual, contemplative and centering prayer practices. Come when you can; leave when you need to. All are welcome...and feel free to bring a friend, colleague or neighbor who might like to learn and pray with you.
is an on-line advent calendar image-based devotional. You can sign up and a daily devotional will come to your inbox, or you can follow the project on Facebook or Instagram.
