CARITAS AfterWorks dinner, October 24, 2018

From the CARITAS Works Staff:

We cannot thank St. Mark's Episcopal Church Outreach enough for the amazing food you brought to us for our AfterWorks "Fall Festivities" tonight. We ended up having 36 people attend tonight, and there was plenty for all. Not only that, but we have some left overs for Class 62's lunch tomorrow before Commencement which I know they are going to be thrilled about. 

The evening went beautifully, and I have to admit that we started dinner about fifteen minutes early because we just couldn't resist the spread you laid out for us. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves, and many of the men shared with us and the volunteers how their lives have improved since coming through THP and CARITAS Works. 

By the way, the apple cinnamon/nutmeg bundt cake was a huge hit, and there wasn't a crumb of it left by the end of the evening!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making tonight such a special evening for the men, volunteers and staff of CARITAS AfterWorks!
