We've identified and collected lots of resources on our website related to the brutal kidnap and murder of Emmett Till in 1956.

 

Our main books are The Blood of Emmett Till by Timothy Tyson, and The Barn by Wright Thompson. But there are many other ways to engage with and consider this tragedy.

 

Take a some time ( 1 hour) to watch Keith Beauchamp's documentary (its making discussed in The Barn) The Untold Story of Emmett Till 2005 found on his website, Till Freedom Come which has a great timeline of the events.
