What We Did This Summer

We had a great summer!  In June we baptized babies, met with our Young Adults, collected and distributed personal care items for our Food Pantry guests, enjoyed Summer fun & Learning Days, and participated in the Banned Book mobile event.  In July we made lunch for CARITAS Works and collected backpacks to support their WORKS program, and we cheered on as Dale Smith and Emma Brice Wright were ordained to the Transitional Diaconate, and started our monthly Bike Rides.  In August we collected school supplies for Anna Julia Cooper School and Side by Side, sang in Summer Choir, installed our Justice and Advocacy issue wall, and accepted a grant award from Furbish Thrift in recognition that our Food Pantry provides cat & dog food as well as people food.  

And September will be busier!
