Christmas Giving Opportunities
“Christmas for the Elders”
It’s soon to be “Christmastime in the City,” and once again this year St. Mark’s is serving as Santa for residents in the 8th District of Richmond.
Once again this year we will be collecting and distributing gift boxes for elderly residents who might otherwise have no Christmas to celebrate. Members of St. Marks "adopt" one or more recipient, take the appropriate wish list out and shop. We will provide the boxes to be filled, and ask that you gift wrap and return to the church by Dec.16th, so that they can be picked up and delivered by Christmas. We will have the "wish lists" of these seniors ready beginning on November 18th and the next few Sundays at Coffee Hour.
If you can't shop, but can support a box financially, we can link you to someone who will do the leg-work for you. We will have between 65-75 folks this year, so there's plenty of shopping to be done.
If you have any questions, please contact Elam Jarrells, email@example.com
Memorial and thanksgiving donation may be made to support our Christmas decorations. Please consider donating by completing the form and then going to the GIVE button to fulfill your donation. Or you may drop a check in the offering plate or mail it to the church.
