Boomers & Better Boulevard
A curated collection of resources on aging, spirituality and community
We are an aging nation. We are an aging church. On any given Sunday in any of our churches, particularly those historic denominations such as Episcopal, Presbyterian, Lutheran, Methodist, etc. – the median age is 64. Half of those sitting in the pews next to you are 64 or older.
The good news is that aging is changing – we are living longer, healthier lives, and this is obvious in the Boomer generation. Boomers – born between 1946 and 1964 – have marked their 65th birthdays and every day approximately 8,000 turn 65. This generation has changed every life stage through which it has passed, and retirement is not likely to be any different.
Boomers & Better Boulevard is an online and in-person group of 55+ adult seekers, journeyers, and wanderers
